Fextex supplied underground tanks

  • Underground tanks are 100% water tight when installed to the manufacturers’ installation instructions. This minimizes your pumping costs — inflow and infiltration are eliminated, allowing the recirculation tank to pump effluent from the inlet assembly and filter return.
  • Underground tanks’ water tight connections are ensured by fiberglassing the PVC inlet and outlet fittings.
  • Underground tanks offer flexible design options including configuration for:
    • Riser openings with internal flanges (used to hang pump vaults for turbine pump applications); riser openings can be designed anywhere on the tank top.
    • Pump platforms (used for submersible centrifugal pumps).
    • Pump quick-disconnect systems.
    • Slide rails.
  • Underground tanks supplied by Fextex are light, and easy to install.
  • Underground tanks can withstand an H-20 traffic load.
  • Standard underground tanks (six- to 12-foot diameter) can be buried up to seven feet; non-standard recirculation tanks can be designed for burials deeper than seven feet.

Fextex Maximizes Your Underground Tank Installation

  • Fextex evaluates the underground tank system, ensuring you have the products that match the system design.
  • Fextex provides training and training guides to the contractor to ensure proper  installation.
  • Fextex provides, upon request, assistance with obtaining a backfill approval letter from the tank manufacturer.
  • Fextex provides, upon request, anti-flotation calculations for your recirculation tank installation; Fextex will supply anti-flotation equipment if required.
  • Fextex provides dipstick calibration charts indicating liquid level per tank height, helping set float heights, storage capacity, and dose volumes.
  • Fextex provides, upon request, design tools including layout drawings, material specifications, and installation manuals. Additionally, Fextex can generate project-specific drawings that can be incorporated into the construction plan set.
