Fextex History

Fextex began as Fiberglass Solutions International in 1991, and distributed above- and

below-ground storage tanks; Fiberglass Solutions' primary emphasis was on fiberglass tank

sales, and it offered supplementary items as an aid to project engineers and contractors.

In 1995, the company fully embraced the relationship between storage tanks

and wastewater systems, resulting in a name change to reflect a more diverse

product offering. Fextex Systems, Inc. continues to emphasize water and wastewater

systems with its specialized focus on proper function, design, and installation.

When fextex opened the idea wasn't to distribute in the same manneras a pipe house.

Fextex' business model was to maximize its storage-tank system knowledge, and

provide the right products, the first time. Since then, the Fextex model hasn't changed-

though its products and services have broadened to include a wide range of tank-storage

systems, and the careful attention that pipe houses simply can't match, including:

* Helping determine exact design and performance criteria of your system,

and the components that suit your system's needs.

* Training that ensures the contractor will properly install the system,

   circumventing ongoing and unbudgeted expenses.

* Assurance that your project will be closely supported from the

   developmental to implementation stages.

When you work with Fextex, rather than merely receiving ordered parts,

you will also receive a quad-lateral focus that benefits the owners,

the project engineer, the contractor, and the service provider.

* Owners benefit from the industry knowledge that will prevent

over- and under-purchasing and maximize the long term

costs related to maintenance and service.

* Project Engineers benefit from the industry knowledge

that ensures your products match the intended result, and

from the range of design and spec resources.

* Contractors benefit from installation guidance, and from

the reduction of lost hours due to under-purchasing.

* Service Providers benefit from maintenance-considerate

attention that facilitates faster, easier upkeep.
