The CorGal steel mining tanks are a cost effective solution for on-site water storage in tough to suit mining operations. The CorGal tanks are shipped flat allowing them to be shipped and errected in even the most remote locations. The Corgal steel mining tanks are offered in many sizes ranging from 700-700,000 gallons.

Structural

The steel structure materials used for CorGal tanks are hot-diped galvanized to a G-115 coating specification(350 grams/sq meter). The galvanized coating prevents oxidation of the steel base metal. Heavier hot-dip galvanizing can also be provided for special corrosive atmospheres. Each tank can be equiped with a preliner and flexible membrane which distributes the water load uniformly across the foundation area.. The foundation strength is engineered taking in account the tank and water weight, sub soil and site climatic conditions.
